Programme content:
Day 1 – Introduction to Micropigmentation (Areola, Scar
Camouflage and Stretch Marks).
This module will present the following topics and follow the structure presented:
1- Introduction to Micropigmentation and legal requirements for practice.
2- Basic theoretical concepts (Anatomy, Skin Tones and Colour Theory) and equipment.
3- Consultation and the Office.
4- The Technique. Step by step. Drawing and colour choice.
5- The Technique. Applying the technique to synthetic leather.
6- Protocol and Aftercare.
Day 2 – Practical Micropigmentation on Models
In this module the theoretical concepts will be applied in a practical environment.
1- Practice of the technique on a model (trainees and trainer). In the practical aspect, each student will practice on a real model, demonstrating skills in carrying out a consultation, applying the technique and counselling on aftercare.
2- Award of certificates.

General Objectives
This course aims to provide participants with the theoretical and practical knowledge required to correctly apply the Micropigmentation technique (Areola, Scars and Stretch Marks Camouflage).
Specific objectives
At the end of the course, the trainee should be able to:
– Identify the skin type
– Draw up a Micropigmentation treatment plan (Areola, Scars and Stretch Marks Camouflage).
– Recognise the ways of preventing injury in the practice of Micropigmentation (Areola, Scars and Stretch Marks Camouflage).
– Recognise the different equipment, pigments and utensils needed to carry out the technique.
– Identify the contraindications of the procedures.
– Recognise the applications of the micropigmentation technique (Areola, Scars and Stretch Marks Camouflage).
– Recognise the potential results of the procedure and advise on aftercare.
