Programme content:
Day 1 – Introduction to Lip Micropigmentation.
This module will present the following topics and follow the
structure presented:
1- Introduction to Lip Micropigmentation and Legal
Requirements for Practising.
2- Lip Micropigmentation – Basic theoretical concepts
(Anatomy, Skin Tones and Colour Theory) and equipment.
3- The Consultation and the Office.
4- The Technique. Step by step. Marking the lip and choosing
the colour.
5- The Technique. Applying the technique to synthetic skin.
6- Protocol. Aftercare.
Day 2 – Practical Lip Micropigmentation on Models
In this module the theoretical concepts will be applied in a
practical environment.
1- Practising the technique on a model (Trainees and
Trainer). In the practical aspect, each student will practise on a real model
and must demonstrate skills in carrying out a consultation, applying the
technique and advising on aftercare.
2- Award of certificates.
Training Objectives
The training is divided into two types of objectives:
General Objectives
This course aims to provide participants with the
theoretical and practical knowledge required to correctly apply the Lip
Micropigmentation technique.
Specific Objectives
At the end of the training, the trainee should be able to:
– Identify the skin type
– Draw up a lip micropigmentation treatment plan
– Recognise the ways of preventing injury in the practice of
lip micropigmentation.
– Recognise the different equipment, pigments and utensils
needed to carry out the technique.
– Identify the contraindications for lip micropigmentation
procedures.
– Recognise the applications of the lip micropigmentation
technique.
– Recognise the potential results of the procedure and
advise on aftercare.
